Glenn Harrold (MBSCH Dip C.H) is the UK's best selling self-help audio author. He is a highly experienced clinical hypnotherapist who has helped thousands of clients with a wide range of stress related problems. He has combined his hypnotherapy skills with an extensive recording knowledge to produce a series of very successful, high quality hypnosis recordings that have now sold over 500,000 worldwide. This series of uniquely crafted hypnosis CDs are officially the UK's best selling self-help CDs (see chart). In the first quarter of 2006 Glenn was the 6th biggest selling audio author in the UK, only outsold by the likes of JK Rowling and Agatha Christie.
Glenn is a also an entrepreneur having built Diviniti Publishing into a thriving business producing and distributing high quality self-help CDs, books and DVDs. Diviniti have signed a number of other authors and currently have a catalogue of over 100 titles. The aim of Diviniti is to publish and distribute books, CDs, tapes and DVDs of the highest quality that genuinely help people achieve great personal growth and overcome fears, problems or anxieties. Diviniti Publishing also have offices in the USA and Australia.
Glenn has also produced an exclusive range of hypnotherapy CDs for BBC audiobooks, and has recently received a gold disk from Nielsen Bookscan for sales in excess of £250,000 of his best selling title, Complete Relaxation.
BIOGRAPHY
Glenn Harrold is a Gemini, born on mid summers day - the summer solstice - 21st of JUNE 1962.
Glenn has established himself as the UK's top selling hypnotherapist on audio with sales of over 500,000 through his own publishing company Diviniti Publishing Ltd . In the first quarter of 2007 he was the 5th biggest selling audiobook author in the UK, only outsold by the likes of JK Rowling and Agatha Christie. Glenn has recently received a gold disk from Nielsen Bookscan for sales in excess of £250,000 of his best selling title, Complete Relaxation.
Glenn spent his formative years as a bass player in a punk band that eventually morphed into a pop group called Sugar Ray Five. Music aficionados will recall that in 1983 the Sugar Ray Five beat 2000 bands to win £10,000 in the UK Battle of the Bands and a recording contract with EMI. Fame, however, was short-lived and the band split soon after. Glenn’s interest in hypnosis came about after sharing the bill with a stage hypnotist. He took this interest further and studied for two years with the British School of Clinical Hypnotherapy as he wanted to learn hypnosis to help and heal rather than entertain.
A graduate of the British School of Clinical Hypnosis, Glenn Harrold built up busy private practices in Kent and began producing his first hypnosis tapes in 1997, primarily to help support the work he was doing with clients. Highly experienced in his field, Glenn has treated thousands of patients for a wide range of problems such as anxiety, fears, self- esteem, weight control and many other stress related illnesses. As a former musician Glenn had the recording and musical skills to produce a very unique and effective range of self-hypnosis CDs. He has since produced and published over 30 hypnosis titles, which are now peaking with sales of 90,000 units per year.
Glenn’s hypnosis titles are now becoming equally as popular as downloads. On the worlds leading mp3 download site, Audible.com, Glenn’s titles are best sellers with over 25,000 downloads in the last 12 months. On the itunes download site Glenn’s titles are often in the top 20 best selling audiobooks chart both in the UK and USA.

When time allows Glenn writes songs some of which have been finalists or won international song competitions. A Dance track of Glenn’s called “Transparency” recently won 1st prize in the dance category at the international song of the year competition. This song has since been signed up by Music in Head, a major Italian dance company who have had many hits in Europe. Transparency has been re-mixed and 4 different versions are available on itunes.
Glenn says of his work and position in life: “The most rewarding aspect of my work is the many emails, phone calls and thank you letters I get from people all over the world who have been helped by using the tapes and CD’s. I love hearing how someone has overcome a phobia or achieved a big goal using my CDs. It is an honour and privilege to be doing this work! My aim is to continue to develop and improve my recordings, and create products that have genuine healing qualities.
