30 years of smoking stopped in one session

I started smoking as a teenager and for years and years smoked 20 to 40 cigarettes a day. I had tried a few times to stop but each time never lasted more than a week or so before the need to smoke got too much for me.
I had been hearing about using hypnotherapy to stop smoking and although I didn't know anyone who had tried it, I thought I may as well have a go. Although I really wanted to stop for health and social reasons I wasn't expecting too much success after so many failed attempts.
I came across Max Kirsten of http://www.stop-smoking-in-1-hour.co.uk in a magazine article and as I work in London, the location in Sloane Street seemed quite convenient for me.
I thought the one hour session was very relaxing but I didn't really think that anything was said to make me want to stop smoking although I left feeling good and quite refreshed.
It wasn't until I arrived home that I realised that I had no urge at all to smoke and amazingly, when I thought back to leaving Max's office, I remembered that I didn't light up as soon as I left the building, which used to be something that I always did .
During that first evening, I still didn't think about having a cigarette at all and to this day, 2 years on, I still have no desire to smoke.
I feel good, my health has improved and best of all, socially I am much happier now that I don't have to leave the company I am with to go and smoke outside.
I would definitely encourage anyone who really wants to stop smoking to try hypnotherapy, if it worked for me, it would work for anyone !
